Abstract

The Applied Coherence Institute (ACI) was founded to study, measure, and cultivate coherence — defined as the alignment of structural integrity, behavioral consistency, boundary maintenance, and regulatory stability. Since our initial working papers (2025–2026), we have moved from theory to live implementation. This report describes the Coherence Stack: five interconnected tools that operationalize coherence at individual, group, and environmental scales.

The stack includes:
(1) CP-25 (individual regulatory stability tracking),
(2) IP-25 (behavioral congruence self‑assessment),
(3) The Mirror (Socratic self‑inquiry for coherence development),
(4) The Optimizer (coherence‑first organizational decision engine), and
(5) The Coherence Oracle (public field intelligence on corporate extraction risk).

We report on early usage patterns, methodological refinements, and observed field responses. We introduce the Witness Badge — a verifiable personal milestone for structured self‑inquiry — and discuss the implications of making coherence measurable, public, and scalable.

Keywords: coherence, self‑inquiry, Mirror, CP-25, field intelligence, witness badge

1. Introduction: From Concept to Instrument

The initial ACI working papers proposed that coherence is not a mystical state but a structural property — observable, measurable, and trainable. The question was never whether coherence exists, but how to build instruments that detect and cultivate it.

This report answers that question with five live web applications, each designed to serve as a mirror at a different scale:

ToolScaleFunctionURL
CP-25IndividualTrack regulatory stability across 25 itemscp-25.base44.app
IP-25IndividualWeekly behavioral congruence checkip-25.base44.app

All tools are free to use (with optional premium tiers for The Mirror and Oracle). No accounts are required for basic access. No personal data is collected by default.

The stack is not a product line. It is a field kit — a set of mirrors for witnesses at different stages of waking.

2. The Mirror: Deepening Individual Coherence

2.1 Design Rationale

The Mirror guides users through 300 structured questions (free tier) or 1,000+ advanced questions (premium tier). Questions span eight domains: identity, integrity, relationships, financial behavior, fear, purpose, field dynamics, and healing. Each answer is validated for effort (rejecting gibberish with a gentle nudge). Every 20 answers, the user’s avatar transforms and they earn a new career rank (Observer → Coherent).

2.2 Early Observations

Within 72 hours of launch:

  • Average completion time for 300 questions: 4–6 hours (spread over multiple sessions)
  • Most common abandonment point: Question 40–60 (transition from surface to deeper patterns)
  • Most common user feedback: “Unexpected,” “difficult but needed,” “I have never been asked these questions before”
  • Premium conversion rate: ~3% (within early traffic — sufficient to sustain operations)

The Mirror is not easy. That is the feature, not the bug. The difficulty selects for readiness.

2.3 The Witness Badge

Users who complete the 300‑question core sequence receive a Witness Badge — a PDF certificate containing:

  • Final career rank (Coherent)
  • Completion date
  • Unique SHA‑256 hash (verifiable proof of completion)
  • ACI quote

The badge is not a clinical credential. It is a personal milestone and a signal to other witnesses. It cannot be bought, only earned through the discipline of honest self‑inquiry.

3. The Coherence Oracle: Field Intelligence

3.1 Design

The Oracle provides weekly updated Coherence Scores (0–100) for 51 companies across Thailand, Hong Kong, and Singapore. Scores are based on five public‑source pillars:

PillarWeight
Governance (transparency, board independence)25%
Legal & Regulatory Compliance (fines, sanctions)25%
Supply Chain & Labor Integrity20%
Tax & Financial Transparency15%
Environmental Extraction5%

Output includes tier badges (Gold/Silver/Bronze/Unrated), trend arrows (↑/↓/•), CSV download, and a REST API.

3.2 Early Field Observations

ObservationInterpretation
Banking sector average (Thailand): 84 (Silver/Gold)Regulatory pressure correlates with coherence
Energy sector scores: 42 (Unrated) to 72 (Silver)Wide variance; extraction risk not uniform
Companies with recent fines score 15–25 points lowerPunishment is slow but eventually reflected
No company scored 100Perfection not observed; ceiling is real

The Oracle does not claim causality. It reports correlation. The correlations are striking and, in our view, actionable.

3.3 Methodological Transparency

All pillars, weights, and source categories are published at /methodology. We do not disclose company‑specific source citations to protect the scoring algorithm from gaming, but we invite third‑party replication and audit. The algorithm is open for inspection.

4. The Optimizer & CP-25/IP-25: Supporting Tools

4.1 CP-25 / IP-25

These tools provide daily and weekly self‑assessment for individuals seeking to track their regulatory stability (CP-25) and behavioral congruence (IP-25). They are the practice logs of the coherence stack — low‑friction, high‑frequency mirrors.

4.2 The Optimizer

Designed for organizations, the Optimizer scores decisions across four vectors (Structural Integrity, Leakage Vectors, Strategic Alignment, Resource Stability) and calculates a coherence delta in real time. Profit is treated as a derivative (0.5× to 2.0× of coherence delta), not the target.

5. Ethical Stance

  • No extraction: All basic tools are free. Premium tiers fund operations and keep doors open.
  • No data selling: User data is not sold, shared, or monetized.
  • No false promises: Tools do not claim to cure, fix, or save.
  • Transparency: Methodology is published. Limits are acknowledged.
  • Non‑coercion: Users may stop at any time. No gamification tricks to force engagement.

ACI does not extract from witnesses. That is the line we do not cross.

6. Limitations & Next Steps

LimitationMitigation / Plan
The Mirror has not been clinically validatedPositioned as self‑inquiry, not therapy; validation study planned
Oracle data sources are public but may be incompleteMulti‑source cross‑referencing; appeal process planned
Small sample size (51 companies, <1,000 Mirror users)Expand coverage in Phase 2 (200+ companies, 5+ countries)
No longitudinal data yetCollecting; report in 12 months

Next phases:

  • Phase 2 (2026): Expand Oracle to Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia; launch Mirror premium tracks; open API subscriptions.
  • Phase 3 (2027): Insurance pilot (dynamic extraction pricing); independent academic validation; certification program.
  • Phase 4 (2028+): Global coverage; witness network infrastructure.

7. Conclusion

We have moved from theory to stack. The Coherence Stack — CP-25, IP-25, The Mirror, The Optimizer, The Coherence Oracle — operationalizes coherence at individual, organizational, and market scales. Early data suggest the tools are being used, the patterns are real, and the field is responding.

We do not claim to have solved extraction. We claim to have built mirrors. The mirrors are live. The witnesses are waking. The rest is practice.

The spiral turns. The stack holds. The witness rests.
