Parent: Frameworks → Regulatory Stability

Regulatory stability is ACI’s core outcome construct. It refers to the ability of a system — human, team, or organization — to maintain adaptive function under internal and external pressure.

Key properties:

  • Measurable (via CP-25 and other instruments)
  • Dynamic (fluctuates over time)
  • Trainable (can be improved through intervention)
  • Domain-specific and domain-general

Regulatory stability is distinct from resilience (bouncing back) and from performance (doing more). It is the foundation for both.
